Cardiokickboxing – also known as aerobic kickboxing or cardio kick – incorporates hand and foot techniques from boxing and Taekwondo, in an hour of focused cardiovascular and muscular conditioning, all played to high energy beats.
Workout intensity depends on the individual: techniques can be performed for both high and low impact. It’s ideal for those who like to learn while they burn. You will sweat!
Drawing on our strong background in technical martial arts, the classes are taught so that the kicks and punches are true to the mechanistic details that make them effective techniques in their respective sports. We pay attention to having proper body position and dynamics, as well as to the obvious aerobic benefit of the workout.
